Sherri Moreau Obituary

TAUNTON- Sherri A. Moreau, age 54, of Taunton, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, in the presence of family at Morton Hospital in Taunton. 

Born in Taunton, she was one of two children and the only daughter born to Sandra (Botelho) Moreau and the late Michael F. Moreau. Sherri was raised in Taunton and was a graduate with the Class of 1987 from Coyle Cassidy High School. Following high school, she attended Bridgewater State College. 

For many years, Sherri worked as a Clerk for Market Basket in West Bridgewater. She took great pride in providing the utmost service to her customers. 

In her spare time, Sherri was an avid sports fan, cheering for the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She enjoyed relaxing on the beach, especially in Onset. Above all, Sherri treasured the time spent and memories made with her dear family, particularly her mother and daughter. 

In addition to her mother, Sherri is survived by her cherished and loving daughter: Lindsey Moreau and her significant other, Elias Wheeler; and also many friends and extended family members.

She was the sister of the late Michael J. Moreau. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a procession at the main entrance of Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 10:45 AM for Sherri’s Committal Service, which is scheduled for 11:00 AM. Funeral home staff will be present to assist with parking.
