Marion L. (Souza) Parchesco

Marion L. (Souza) Parchesco, age 95 of Dighton, MA, passed away on November
12, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Born in Tiverton, RI, in 1927, She was the daughter of the late John  and Mabel
(Carvalho) Souza.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Parchesco of Dighton, for 61
years.
Marion was a communicant of St. Nicholas of Myra (formerly St. Peter's) Church
of Dighton, where she sang in the choir for holiday masses, and was a long-time
member of the Women's Guild.
In addition to spending time with family, Marion liked dining out, playing
dominos with friends, traveling with her husband, and wintering in Florida. 
Marion enjoyed her 26 years working as school secretary at the Dighton Middle
School, until her retirement in 1996.
She is survived by her loving children; Stephen Parchesco and wife Patricia, Maria
Nardone and husband Gary, Kathryn Parchesco, Beth Parchesco-Laplante and
husband Michael, Kerry Trabusana and husband Joseph, 8 grandchildren, Andrea
(Nardone) Tellez, Cara (Parchesco) Hins, Christina (Nardone) Pasciscia, Richard
Parchesco, Barret LaPlante, Arianna Parchesco-LaPlante, Evan Trabusana, and
Aidan Trabusana, and 8 great-grandchildren, Liliana Tellez, Jackson Pasciscia,
Abigail Hins, Gabriella Tellez, Emmeline Hins, Marian Hins, Aria Mae Pasciscia, and
Josephine Hins.
Marion’s funeral with visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022
at 9:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square.)
Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Saint Nicholas of Myra Church
Spring Street in North Dighton. Interment will be private.
