Lorri Ann Pina

DIGHTON- Lorri Ann Pina, age 60, of Dighton, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of her dear family. She was the adoring wife for 38 years to Donald W. Pina, Sr.

 Lorri was born to the late Raymond P. Seekell, Sr. and Ruth L. (Horton) Seekell on July 19,1963. She grew up in Raynham and graduated from Bristol-Plymouth High School with the Class of 1981.

A kind and caring individual, Lorri worked as a Medical Assistant in a Dermatology Office. She was beloved by her patients. Lorri always ensured that she provided the utmost quality of care to all of those she had the privilege of caring for. 

In her spare time, Lorri had a wide range of hobbies and interests. She liked to go on cruises and travel the Caribbean with her husband. Lorri liked to go to the casino and she was a skilled card player, especially at her favorite game, “45”. She enjoyed going for rides on her husband's motorcycle as a passenger and she was an avid fisherwoman. Lorri loved nature and had a true passion for all animals. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh and for her ability to make people smile and feel loved. Lorri loved music and dancing to her favorite songs. Above all, she was most happy when she was in the presence of and making memories with her dear family. She was a remarkable and special wife, mother, grandmother, sister and “auntie” . Lorri will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her husband, Lorri is survived by her dear children: Donald “DJ” Pina, Jr. and Jennifer “Jenny” Pina; her grandchildren: Alaysha Pina and Rashad  “Jr” Pina; her siblings: Vera Tacconelli and her husband Peter, Raymond Seekell, Jr. and his wife Alice, and Paula Svedine and her husband David; and also numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. 

Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton. 
Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lorri’s memory may be made to the Taunton Animal Hospital, 96 Summer Street, Taunton MA.
