Keith F. Medas, Sr.

TAUNTON- Keith F. Medas, Sr., 63, of Taunton, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 26, 2023, at his home in Taunton, surrounded by loving family. He was the adoring husband for 36 years to the love of his life, Maria Calise-Medas.

Born in Taunton, Keith was one of two twin boys in a family of four children born to Jacqueline (Henshaw) Medas and the late David Medas. He grew up in Taunton and attended Taunton Public Schools, graduating from Taunton High School with the Class of 1978.

A hard-working man with an admirable work ethic and a talent for carpentry, Keith was the Owner and Operator of Medas Enterpises, in Taunton. He provided the utmost quality of customer service and carpentry work to his clients, which included many local restaurants in the Taunton area. Prior to owning his company, Keith worked at Raytheon Technologies where he soldered pieces of equipment together and he spent some time working for the Taunton DPW.

In his spare time, Keith had a wide array of hobbies and interests. He was a talented artist with the ability to paint and create beautiful murals. He enjoyed working around his home, both inside and outside where he took pride in maintaining his property. Keith also liked to play pool with his friends. Above all, Keith was most happy when he was in the presence of and making memories with his dear family.  

In addition to his wife, Keith is survived by his cherished children: Keith F. Medas, Jr., Scott A. Medas, and Makayla Medas; his 6 grandchildren, his siblings: Linda Henriques, David Medas, Grace Medas-Kaeppel, and his twin brother, Kevin; and also, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to his father, Keith is predeceased by his son: David A. Medas.

Services for Keith will be held privately.
