Jessica Grant

TAUNTON- Jessica Leah Grant died peacefully on April 1, 2023, in Boston, Massachusetts at the age of 47 surrounded by her family.

Jessica was born the first of two twins, on July 11, 1975, in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Darrell and Nancy Grant. She was raised in Taunton, Massachusetts and graduated from Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School in 1993.

After high school she went on to take various college courses. Jessica was the loving mother to Darrell and Vere Medeiros. Jessica enjoyed the Arts and was a very talented artist. One of the highlights of her life was going to Amsterdam and visiting the Van Gogh Museum.

She loved to garden, sew and adored antiques. When she was not busy with her many hobbies, Jessica enjoyed her family and friends. She loved to be surrounded by people and made friends with everyone she met. If you needed help, she would be right there trying to figure out what she could do to make things better. Throughout her life she volunteered at many organizations.

Jessica leaves behind her greatest creations, her children, Darrell and Vere Medeiros; Father, Darrell Grant; Sisters, Nicole Grant, Karaline Gadsby and her husband Brian, and Kylah Grant; Nieces, Samantha Kelly, Kiara Gadsby, and Kayla Gadsby; Nephew, Aedan Gadsby; As well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Grant (Torres); Stepmother, Frances Grant (Maron); Maternal Grandparents, Manuel and Agnes Torres; Paternal Grandparents, Kermit and Florence Grant.

Memorial Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton (at Saint Mary's Square)

(Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home)

Funeral Services and burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Taunton will be private.
