Frederick J. Nolette, Sr.

Frederick J. Nolette, Sr., age 68, passed away on October 15, 2023, at Nemasket Health Care with his loving family by his side.

He was the beloved husband of Karen (McManus) Nolette.

Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Frederick and Florence (Beals) Nolette.

Before his retirement, Mr. Nolette was employed with Turner Steel as a driver/maintenance.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 500.

Fred enjoyed fishing with the family, working on race cars at Seekonk, line dancing, camping at Indian Ranch, calling bingo at the VFW, playing UNO with the family, and loved to cook.

Besides his wife Karen, Fred is survived by his loving children; Robin Mondeau and her husband Peter of Raynham, Jennifer Foley and her husband Michael of Taunton, Phillip Nolette and significant other Jenelle Beniot of Lakeville, Frederick Nolette Jr, of Taunton and Kimberlee Nolette and her fiance Christopher Dumont of Lakeville. Grandfather of 9 William, Kyle, Samantha, Courtney, Jillian, Jake, Julie, Lucas, and Caleb, great-grandfather of 4 Tyler, Carter, Mason, and Kameron, he was the brother of Richard Nolette of Taunton, Alan Nolette of VT, Paul Nolette of Taunton, Joan Sproul of FL, Merrilyn Vieira of ME and Trudy Avila of Fall River. Frederick was also the brother of the late Gail Crawford, Beth Avila, and the late Leo Nolette.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.

Additional parking with handicapped access is located on the North side of the funeral home.

Interment will be held privately.
