Fernando S. Rodrigues

Fernando “Freddy” S. Rodrigues, age 58 of East Taunton, passed away on January 8, 2022 at Morton Hospital.

Born in Taunton, Fernando was the beloved son of the late Agostinho and Idalina (Pacheco) Rodrigues.

Fernando was employed with the Taunton State Hospital for over 38 years. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, weekly dinners and game nights with his daughters, holiday celebrations with work colleagues, and local fishing trips with his nephew.

Fernando is survived by his loving daughter’s, Samantha and Sabrina Rodrigues both of Taunton, he was also the brother of Agostinho S. Rodrigues and his wife Maryellen of East Taunton.He was also the uncle of Augie, Grace and Ana.

Mr. Rodrigues funeral will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Family Church Middleboro Avenue, East Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 12th from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the Funeral Home.
