Fernando Cornier, Jr.

Fernando Cornier, Jr., age 55 of Taunton, passed away on October 25, 2023 at Morton Hospital.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was the beloved son of Angelina (Velez) Cornier and the late Fernando Cornier, Sr.

Fernando enjoyed cooking, spending as much time with family as he could, freshwater fishing, and loved dancing and listening to music.

Fernando was a generous and loving man who spent his life taking care of the people around him and always lending a loving helping hand.

Besides his beloved mother Angelina, Fernando is survived by his loving son, Fernando Cornier, Ill of Texas. He is also survived by his siblings Haydee Cornier, Edgar Cornier and Angela Martins and his 2 nephews, 5 nieces and 2 grandchildren.

Mr. Cornier’s funeral with visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 8:30 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in Saint Mary’s Church Broadway, Taunton.

Interment will be held in Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.
