Diane V. (Farias) Sylvia

Diane V. (Farias) Sylvia, age 79 of East Taunton, passed away on April 7, 2023 at the Sachem Nursing Home in East Bridgewater with her loving family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Leo F. Sylvia, Sr.

Diane was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Sylvano and Anna (Braga) Farias.

Diane enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, most of all she cherished time spent with her family.

Diane is survived by her loving daughter; Cherie Stack and husband Ryan of Taunton , grandmother of Maya Ruzzano. She was the sister of Alan Farias , Sandra Zahr and Marilyn Fielder all of FL. Diane was also the step-mother of  Leo F. Sylvia, Jr. of Taunton and his son Shayne Bradford.

Mrs. Sylvia’s funeral with visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 9am with a funeral service beginning at 10am in the Chapel of the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
