Barbara (DeCosta) Rusconi

Barbara A. (DeCosta) Rusconi, age 86 of Bethlehem, PA and formerly of Taunton, passed away on December 2, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late George E. Rusconi. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Wilhemina (Vieira) DeCosta. Before retiring in 2000, Mrs. Rusconi was employed by the Taunton School System as a Para-Professional for over 28 years. She was also a shift leader with CVS for over 20 years. She was a 1954 graduate of Taunton High School. Barbara enjoyed crafts, knitting and being active at her park. She loved Christmas time. Barbara is survived by her loving daughters; Donna Fitta and deceased husband Raymond of Dighton Massachusetts and Pamela Gagnon and husband Steven of Bethlehem grandmother of Kyle Fitta, Zachary Gagnon, Matthew Gagnon, and Benjamin Gagnon. She was also the sister of the late Joseph DeCosta, Jr. Mrs. Rusconi’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 8:30am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Anthony Church 126 School Street, Taunton. Interment will be held privately in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to; American Lung Association in Barbara’s memory, would be deeply appreciated.
