Obituary
Arthur Silvia, 93, of Norwood and formerly of East Taunton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023.
Born in Taunton, he was a son of the late Dennis and Mary (Grilho) Silvia.
Arthur was a peacetime veteran, having served with the U.S. Army. He worked for Newbright Painting Company for many years and was a parishioner of Holy Family Church.
Survivors include his grandsons, Shawn Donle of East Taunton and Jeffrey Donle of Raynham; a sister Olga Silvia; great granddaughter Kiara Donle, and several nieces and nephews. He was also father of the late Francine Donle and brother of the late Mary Dutra and Norma Silvia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service where military honors will be rendered on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at noon St. Joseph Cemetery, St Catherine Section, East Brittania Street in Taunton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, cancer.org would be greatly appreciated.
